What does it mean to be modern orthodox? How does this impact on the halachic process?

With the hugely knowledgeable, intellectually brilliant, sometimes outspoken Rabbi of Hendon's Alei Tsion,
Rabbi Daniel Roselaar.

Rabbi Roselaar describes himself as a proud modern-orthodox religious zionist. He studied for 8 years in Yeshivat Har Etzion and is a student of Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, the son-in-law of Rav Soloveitchik.

He holds an MA in Jewish Education from London University.
